Danube Marine Consulting was founded by Prof. Dr. Peter Patek, head of the Shipbuilding Institute at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in 1996. Already an experienced and successful Naval Architect, he turned his skills toward his passion for boats. In partnership with well-known shipyards from Germany and Eastern Europe, and with the team of His former students He started to build superyachts in Bratislava, with a long-term succes, obtaining next orders for greater sizes which resulted in moving the core activities to costal shupbuilding facilities (Croatia, Italy, UAE).
Danube Marine has brought together craft professionals to build this talented team . The team members are fully dedicated to building yachts with professionalism and integrity. Every step of the production process is checked and rechecked to ensure to meet Danube Marine ’s highest standards.
With more than 20 years experience in yachting Danube Marine has become well-known for the stylish custom yachts designed by the famous Dutch yacht designer, Frank Mulder ( Mulderdesign, BV.) delivered to a distinguished international clientele.
We have started with hand-made fiberglass boats , growing and developing to steel and aluminium structures, from 100 to 150 feet in lenght. So far the company has completed yachts from 15 to 50 m length some of which have been sold to customers from Persian Gulf to Canada.
